ALEXANDER, Catherine “Kay”

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kay Alexander on December 2, 2024, age 94, at St. Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener, surrounded by family. Loving wife to the late Jim Alexander. Beloved mom to Robert (Kathy), Ann, Dave (Lisa), Betc, Bill, Patti (Gary) and John (Sam). Cherished grandma of 16 grandchildren, Andrena (Wayne), Rob (Shirley), Shelby (Jahmael), Jordan (Suzanna), Matthew (Rachel), Brandy, Thomas (Jess), Graham (Kaylee), Eve (Mark), Shannon (Kyle), Samantha (Douglas), Jade (Ryan), Riley (Jackie), Gabe (Mallika), Mylez (Laura) and Candace (Mat). Great-grandmother to 16 and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents and siblings. Will be missed by all friends and extended family. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Highland Manor and Parkwood Mennonite Home for their excellent care, compassion, and bingo games. Arrangements entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Guelph. A visitation was held on Tuesday December 10, 2024, from 12:00-1:00pm. A Funeral Service immediately followed at 1:00pm. Reception followed. Burial at McKee Cemetery, Belwood. As expressions of sympathy, donations made to Groves Memorial Hosptial, Fergus would be greatly appreciated by the family.
