Alma hosts final Christmas parade of local festive season

ALMA - Santa Claus is making his final Wellington County stop prior to Christmas here on Dec. 23.

Toys and Tractors is the 2018 theme of the annual Alma Optimist Club Santa Claus Parade, which is set to begin winding its way through the village at 2pm on Sunday.

Breakfast with Santa

Anyone looking to get in the holiday spirit before the parade can attend the Breakfast with Santa hosted by the Alma Optimist Club beginning at 8:30am.

The event will be held in the Alma Community Hall. Pancakes will be served from 8:30 to 10:30am and Santa will visit from 9 to 9:30am for photos.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own camera. There will also be crafts and colouring.

Admission is by cash donation.
