Angelstone Tournaments hosts Major League Show Jumping
ERIN - Angelstone Tournaments kicked off its premier show jumping event August 16 to 20.
As with all their events, parking and admission (including pets) was free.
The highly anticipated show brought in over 5,500 people over the weekend, an incredible VIP experience, and an electric atmosphere for everyone involved.
Owner Keean White is thrilled with how it all came together.
“We’ve had over 500,000 views on the livestream, a sold-out crowd and have incredible sponsor support,” he said.
The main event Saturday night was the $250,000 Kubota Grand Prix eight-horse jump off.
With a time of 37.26 seconds, Kent Farrington and horse Toulayna took home the prize with a lead of almost 2 seconds.
The lights dimmed during the halftime show and drummers took centre stage as a giant illuminated timer ticked down to zero.
Guests wore LED bracelets that flashed in time with the music, creating a visually stunning backdrop to a performance of dancers covered head to toe in lights.
“We upgraded the spectator areas in a big way, which allowed a better experience for all. The halftime show was a huge hit,” White said.
“It’s just amazing to see the community supporting the event to such a high level!”
