Annual Fergus Santa Claus parade brought a festive spirit to town

Festive time - The weather was great for the annual Fergus Santa Claus parade, presented by the Lions, Optimist and Kinsmen Clubs of Fergus, on Dec. 7. The crowds lined up early in downtown to enjoy the festive tradition. Six prizes were given out for floats in the parade. Three not-for-profit prizes of $200 each were awarded to the 1st Fergus Scouts, Elora Community Theatre and Grand Abilities Centre Wellington Fergus. Three plaques were also given out to commercial entries, including: The Farquharson Team Remax Real Estate Centre, The Goofie Newfie and Walinga Inc.
