GUELPH – A Guelph man faces several charges following a spree of break-ins on Sunday morning in a north-end neighbourhood.

At about 8:20am on April 20, Guelph Police were called to an address near Woolwich Street and Speedvale Avenue after a caller witnessed a man breaking into a shed.

“Officers arrived and arrested the man as he attempted to flee,” police stated in an April 21 press release.

“Investigation revealed the same suspect had entered three other sheds and two garages in the same neighbourhood, and also attempted to enter a residence.”

A 35-year-old Guelph man was charged with six counts of break and enter and two counts of breaching a probation order. He was held for a bail hearing on April 22.
