BARTMAN, Marilyn Joyce (Rode)
Of Palmerston passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family at the Royal Terrace Nursing Home, Palmerston on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Carl Bartman (2017) for 57 years. Sister of Harold and Susan Rode and Carolyn Harkness. Sister-in-law of Grant Bartman, Irene Moore, Marion Bartman and Eric Jonasson. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Ron Harkness, Lloyd and Anne Bartman, Bruce and Ivadelle Bartman, twin sisters Joan Bartman and Jean Bartman, niece Heather Harkness and nephew Terry Bartman. To honour Marilyn’s wishes cremation has taken place. The family received friends at the St Paul’s Lutheran Church, Listowel on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 from 1:00pm to 1:45pm. Pastor Ralph Dwarika conducted the Memorial Service of Remembrance at 2:00pm. Interment in Fairview Cemetery Listowel. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Palmerston Hospital Foundation, Alzheimer’s Society or the Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
