BEARINGER, Amsey

Died peacefully at his home on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at the age of 98 years. He leaves to mourn one son and seven daughters: Esther & Wesley Weber of St. Jacobs; Mary & Laverne Martin, Lena & Eldon Frey, Martha & Lester Martin, Edna & Levi Frey, Paul & Irene Bearinger, Anna & Floyd Martin and Amy & Harvey Bowman all of Mount Forest. Amsey will be missed by his 48 grandchildren, 135 great-grandchildren, two sisters and one sister-in-law. He is predeceased by his beloved wife Louisa (née Martin) Bearinger, two granddaughters and three great-grandsons, and by his parents Abraham & Leah Bearinger, three brothers, three sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law. Visitation was held at the home of Paul Bearinger, 9553 Concession 8, R.R. #6, Mount Forest on Sunday, September 4th from 2:00 – 5:30 and 6:30 – 8:00pm and on Monday from 1:00 – 5:00pm. Family service took place on Tuesday, September 6th at 9:00am, then to Spring Creek Mennonite Meetinghouse for public burial and further services.
