Peacefully at Chapman House, Residential Hospice of Grey Bruce, Owen Sound on Tuesday July 4, 2023. Ruth Beattie (nee Noecker) of Port Elgin in her 100th year. Wife of the Late Harold Rolfe and of her first husband the Late Jack Beattie. Survived by her daughter Moria. Predeceased by her parents Colonel and Gertrude Noecker, by her son Neil and by her sister, Althea. Ruth will be fondly remembered by her many friends at Elgin Lodge, Port Elgin, for her involvement with the Chantry Centre, Southampton, for her love of her Church and by her friends in the community. A Memorial Service for Ruth Beattie will be held at St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church Southampton on Sunday, July 16, 2023, at 2pm with a Time of Fellowship to follow in the Social Hall of the Church. Interment of Ruth’s Ashes along with those of her son Neil, will take place at Victoria Cemetery, Drayton Ontario, on Monday, July 17, 2023, at 11:30am.
