Belwood man charged with sexual assault
GUELPH/ERAMOSA – A Belwood man has been charged with sexual assault following an incident here earlier this month.
Wellington County OPP officials say that on July 9 at about 4:45am they received a report of a sexual assault that occurred in a vehicle on Wellington Road 29 in Guelph/Eramosa.
Abdul Waheed Najem, 51, of Belwood, was charged with sexual assault and is to appear in Guelph court on Sept. 3.
Police are reminding victims of sexual assault that they are not alone.
