Blood donor clinics in Drayton cancelled; public urged to attend Palmerston events

DRAYTON – Due to continued uncertainty around the COVID-19 pandemic and physical distancing protocols in place, Canadian Blood Services (CBS) has cancelled blood donation events at the Community Christian School in Drayton for the remainder of their 2020/21 fiscal year.

Palmerston

While the need for blood is currently rising, local residents are being urged to donate at the events at the Palmerston Community Centre, located at 525 Cavan Street.

There are three upcoming events in Palmerston for the remainder of the CBS year: July 16 and Oct. 8, 2020 and Jan, 21, 2021.

All clinics run from 2 to 8pm on an appointment-only basis as this time. Donors can book online at blood.ca or call 1-888-2-donate.

Walk-ins will not be accommodated.
