GUELPH - Dancers from the Blue Bonnet Lassies School of Highland Dance attended the Western Ontario Highland Dancers Association competition in Guelph on Sept. 16 and did very well.

In the Beginner 8 years category, Harlyn Heathers placed sixth in Lilt, and seventh in Half Hullachan and Sword.

In the Beginner 9 years category Scarlett Jackson placed fourth in Sword and Half Hullachan, and fifth in Lilt and Seann Truibhas. Hadley Heathers placed sixth in Lilt.

In the Beginner 10 and under 13 years category Cayley Simpson placed sixth in Trophy Fling.

Brooke Bailey placed second in Lilt and Sword, third in Seann Truibhas and Half Hullachan, and fifth in Trophy Fling, earning her the runner-up trophy for highest aggregate points overall.

In the Novice 8 and under 13 years category Maribelle McBroom placed sixth in Half Hullachan.

In the Novice 14 years and over category Gabby Jackson placed fifth in Sword and Half Hullachan, and sixth in Seann Truibhas.

In the Intermediate 14 years and over, Eila Gillies placed sixth in Half Hullachan and Fling.
