BRANDT, Arno Edwald

With his family by his side Arno peacefully passed away on February 12, 2025. He was in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Margo Brandt (nee Abbott) for 56 years. Father and Super Hero to his children Barbara, Brenda (Lynn Mitchell), Bobbi – Jean (Bill Curry) and Barry. Loving grandfather to 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Arno is survived by his sister Ina Ehrlich of Elmira, Sister is Law Marrianne Brandt of Fergus and Darlene (Jim) Moynihan of Elora. Arno leaves behind a legacy of his entrepreneurial spirit and creativity in his custom Welding and Fabricating business, Brandt Welding and Manufacturing for over 45 years. He loved working on old cars. Building railings, racing pigeons and camping with family and friends. The family would like to express their most sincere appreciation and gratitude to all his PSW’s and nurses in Melancthon and Mount Forest. Also, to the Markdale Hospital and Louise Marshall Hospital doctors, nurses and so many more. Any donations can be made to the Louise Marshall Hospital, in Mount Forest.
