It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of Angela (Hollohan) Brennan of Harriston and formerly of Summerville, Bonavista Bay, Newfoundland, on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, in her 83rd year. Our loving mom is now high above with the angels, and we mourn the passing of a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Wife of the late John Brennan (1996). Mother of Gary Brennan & Sandra of Paradise, Nfld., Jackie & Mark Harris of Harriston, and Julie and Jerry Murphy of Kenilworth. Grandmother of Janine, Georgia & Chris, Sara & Matthew, and Jonathan & Hanah, and great-grandmother of Aliyah, June, and Hunter. Sister of Carmel & John Rothwell of Stoney Creek, and Cecilia & Bill Nolan of Calgary, and sister-in-law of Vera Hollohan, Felix Philpott, and Daisy Hollohan. Predeceased by her parents James and Julia (Snow) Hollohan, and siblings Brendan Hollohan and wife Eileen, Tom Hollohan, Letty Philpott, Dorothy Walsh and husband Fred, Robert Hollohan, and Margaret Hollohan. Family arrangements have been entrusted to the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston. Interment in St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, Summerville, Newfoundland. Memorial donations to the Lung Association would be appreciated and may be made through the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston. The Brennan family is so grateful for the amazing care provided by our local doctors, paramedics, nurses, and other exceptional support services that allowed mom to stay in our home for so long.
