Building department resumes full services in Mapleton

MAPLETON – The building department here has resumed full services.

As of Tuesday, the Ontario Government has started Phase 1 of reopening the province.

Phase 1 includes lifting all restrictions on the construction industry, states a May 19 press release from the Mapleton Township.

“The township building department will be resuming all services in accordance with this announcement,” the release states.

While the township office remains closed to the public until further notice, permit applications are still being accepted.

Residents are advised to call 519-638-3313 ext. 029  with questions regarding the process for submitting an application during the office closure.

The building department will be conducting inspections Monday to Friday between 10am and4pm. To book an inspection call 519 638-3313 x 029.
