BURKE, Ron

Ronald John Burke of Harriston passed away at Caressant Care, Harriston on Sunday, April 6, 2025 in his 78th year. Father of David & Tina Burke of South River. Grandfather of Josh & Lindsay of Woodstock, Dennis & Amber of North Dakota, Kayla & Seras of Sudbury, Winter, Brooklyn, Johnny and Rowan all of South River. Great-grandfather of Ashlee, Raven, Aeryn, Sophie, Elias, and Ellody. Remembered by his brothers and sisters Bill & Wilda Burke of Harriston, Jake Burke of Lake Rosalind, Lorne Burke of Port Coquitlam, BC, Patricia & Robert Hale of Sauble Beach, Joan & Gerald Eden of Varney, and Donna & Mark McLean of Southampton. He was predeceased by his parents Leonard & Norma (McQuinn) Burke. Ron was a life long resident of Seven Bridges Road. He was an eccentric, friendly, outgoing, and kind person, and will be missed. A celebration of Ron’s life will be held at the Harriston Legion on Saturday, June 28 from 2:00 to 4:00pm.
