BURLEIGH, Carroll ‘Curly’ Janet
Of Moncton, New Brunswick, and formerly of Mount Forest, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024 at the age of 78. Devoted mother of Will Burleigh of Tottenham, ON, and Catherine & Mike Lee of Moncton, NB. Loving grandmother of Christine (Larry) Lortie, Victoria Burleigh, Jamie Burleigh, Anthony (Stephanie) Burleigh, and honourary grandmother to Taylor Leybourne, Melissa Grimes, Myra Langer, Isabella Langer and many more. Great-grandmother of Mathew (Katrina) Lortie, Kyle (Allison) Lortie, Nicholas (Alana) Lake, Samantha Flowers, Cynthia Flowers, Nova Burleigh, and Leo Burleigh. Loved also by her brother Robert Frazer and best friends Colleen Ingram and Beth Plumb. Predeceased by her parents Lloyd and Buelah (Belanger) Fraser, and her brothers Norm (Betty) Fraser, and Jim (Carol) Fraser. The celebration of Carroll’s life will be held at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston, on Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 1:00 until 4:00pm, with the funeral service being held at 2:00pm. Casual dress is appreciated. The funeral will be livestreamed and the link available on the funeral home website. Interment in Mount Forest Cemetery. Memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
