CAMPBELL, Alexander

Passed away peacefully on May 6, 2025 at Wellington Terrace Long Term Care Home in Fergus, ON at the age of 86. Alex was born on January 13, 1939 to parents Alexander and Agnes Campbell. Alex is predeceased by his loving wife of 66 years Shirley Campbell (nee Thomas) and is lovingly remembered by his children Alex (Catherine), Steve (Nancy) and Richard (Lori). Alex was a wonderful and proud grandfather to 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He is survived by his nephew David (Linda) and is predeceased by his four sisters. Alex was a humourous individual and was well liked by all he came into contact with. He will be missed dearly by his community at his trailer park, at the apartments at 69 Gordon St and at the Wellington Terrace. As expressions of sympathy, donations in memory of Alex can be directed to Lifewater Canada. Cremation has taken place and a ceremony to celebrate Alex’s life will be held privately.
