Car hits pole; driver flees
FERGUS – Police are looking to identify the driver and vehicle involved in a single-vehicle crash here recently.
Wellington County OPP officials say that on March 22 at about 11:30pm, a dark-coloured sedan lost control on Gibbs Way, which was snow-covered at the time, and struck a light standard.
“The video also captures the driver reversing the damaged vehicle before fleeing the scene,” police stated in a March 26 press release.
“Investigators are looking to identify the vehicle and driver involved in this collision.”
