PALMERSTON – On April 15, Frederic Chartier, owner and chef at Beyond the Gate restaurant in Shelburne, visited Norwell District Secondary School students to show them how to prepare traditional French crêpes.

During the presentation, students participated in the preparation of the food, sampled the crêpes and conversed with Chartier in French, his native language.
