Chilifest raised $11,000 for Community Resource Centre of North and Centre Wellington

Chilifest - The 23rd annual Chilifest took place on Feb. 7 at the Fergus Legion, raising $11,000. The event benefits the Community Resource Centre of North and Centre Wellington’s outreach programs for individuals and families struggling in Centre Wellington, Minto, Mapleton and Wellington North. Some of the outreach programs include: income tax assistance, a backpack and school supply program, and emergency funds for housing needs. The Community Resource Centre team was busy all day last Friday preparing and serving chili.
