CHRISTENSEN, Wally

Of Palmerston passed away suddenly at his home on Sunday, December 24, 2023 in his 79th year. Loving husband of Sharon (Beirnes) for 55 years. Dear father of Shawn and Angie Christensen of Palmerston and Scott Christensen of Waterloo. Cherished grandfather of Joshua, Jordan and Jacob. Brother-in-law of Jim and June Beirnes, Linda Budnark, Wayne and Maxine Beirnes, Paul and Val Beirnes, Bonnie Murr, Janet Hamilton, Brian Beirnes. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and friends. To honour Wally’s wishes cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the Heritage Funeral Home, Palmerston, on Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00pm. A private family service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel. As expressions of sympathy donations to the James Street United Church or the Frank Lambier Legion Branch 409, Palmerston would be appreciated by the family.
