CLARIDA, George Edward

With great sadness we announce the passing of George Clarida of Mount Forest surrounded by his family on Monday, July 29, 2024 in his 81st year. Predeceased by his first wife, Clare Clarida (1968) and second wife, Marilyn Clarida (2022) of almost 53 years. Loving Dad of Wayne Clarida (Sue) of North Bay, Wayde Clarida (Lisa) of Callander, and Carrie Caudle (Trevor) of Bonfield. Loving grandfather of Charity-Lynn Cobb (Mike), Shayne Clarida, Kyle Clarida, Trent Caudle and Bradly Clarida; and great-grandfather of Emmy and Allie Cobb, who they affectionately called “Old Grandpa”. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Mona and Ted Clarida, sisters Connie and Ruthie. George’s weekends were never complete without taking in a Nascar race and was a car enthusiast. Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of George are asked to consider Parkinson Society.
