It is with great sadness we announce the passing of a devoted wife to predeceased Alan (Happy). Loving mother to Terry (Lori) Tracey (Derek), David (Shawnie) and Annemarie (Mike) and cherished grandma and great grandma. Sadly missed by brothers Eric (predeceased) Jim and Albert (Predeceased), sisters Joyce, Donna (predeceased) Pat and Sylvia (predeceased) and parents Robert (predeceased) and Verna (predeceased). Yesterday evening my grandmother took her last breath after an almost two year courageous battle with cancer. If there is anything I hope to be in this life, it is to be as strong and determined as she was. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, family and friends. She was the axis of this family, a light in our worlds. Though the last couple of years have been crushing, particularly the last while I want to try and find comfort in the fact that she can now rest peacefully with my grandfather, who she missed dearly for over 20 years. See you later alligator. There will be a celebration of life held Sunday October 15 from 12:00pm until 4:00pm at the Elora Legion. In lieu of flowers you can make a donation to the charity of your choice.
