Clerk’s assistant joins staff
MAPLETON – Mayor Gregg Davidson welcomed Michelle Brown to the municipality’s administrative staff at the Sept. 22 township council meeting.
Brown, a building and planning assistant with the Town of Minto since 2017, recently joined Mapleton’s staff as clerk’s assistant.
“Michelle brings almost 20 years of municipal experience with a focus on new development, planning and public relations,” said Davidson.
A longtime resident of Wellington County, Brown started her career in municipal administration in Dufferin County and spent 10 years with Peel Region as a strategic program and policy specialist.
“Welcome, Michelle, we look forward to the great things you’re going to bring here,” said Davidson.
“I’m very, very happy to be a part of Mapleton,” Brown stated.
