Contest urges residents to plug local businesses
WELLINGTON COUNTY – With Valentines Day approaching, Chambers of Commerce in north Wellington, along with the Northern Wellington Economic Development Partnership, are encouraging residents to show a little love to local businesses.
Residents are asked to post a positive review or “shameless plug” for a local business on their Facebook or Instagram accounts and tag their local chamber (Arthur, Mount Forest, Mapleton or Minto).
Participants will be entered in a draw to win one of 20 $100 gift cards.
The contest, aimed at helping businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic, closes on Feb. 12.
