Council supports severance applications to create six new homes in Mount Forest

KENILWORTH – Six new single detached homes are being proposed for largely vacant land at 645 Martin Street in southwest Mount Forest, near the Louise Marshall Hospital.

As a commenting party to a severance application – yet to appear before the county’s land division committee – Wellington North council voiced its support for dividing the land into six plots for the homes, proposed by Betty Dee Limited.

According to a county planning report, there is currently a single-detached home and a storage structure on the property and both would be demolished.
