CRANE, Ken

Peacefully, with family by his side, Ken passed away at Hamilton General Hospital, on March 20th, 2023, in his 68th year. He is survived by his loving sister, Sandra Crane, as well as many dear relatives and friends. Ken was predeceased by his parents, Ernie and Jean (Jackson) Crane, as well as Grandparents and many Aunts and Uncles. Ken was born and raised in the Grand Valley area and then moved to Fergus where he has lived for many years. Ken was retired, however had many years driving truck and other jobs all the while making many friends and acquaintances along the way.  Ken will be remembered for his good nature, his kind ways and his wonderful memory, never forgetting a name or place. He enjoyed time with family and friends, meeting up with friends and acquaintances at Tim Hortons and touring around to places near and far. We wish to express our sincere gratitude to the Groves Memorial Hospital, Guelph General Hospital and Hamilton General Hospital for their expert care and compassion during Ken’s time there recently. Donations in remembrance of Ken may be made to the Arthritis Society Canada or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. A Celebration of Life will take place at Trinity United Church, 17 King Street, Grand Valley, Ontario on Saturday, April 8th from 1:30 – 4:30pm with words of remembrance at 2:30pm.
