Creative fundraiser supports Palmerston and District Hospital Foundation

Creative fundraiser – Cortney Pearson of Twisted Strings by Cortney created a number of pieces to be sold by donation, with the proceeds going to the Palmerston and District Hospital Foundation (PDHF). The idea proved to be a hit, with 45 pieces created in a three-week span and $550 being raised. Krown Rust Control in Palmerston matched the funds raised to make the total donation $1,100. Pearson, left, with her dog Silas, and Krown owners Cheryl and Fred Donkersgoed, centre, presented PDHF development officer Dale Franklin with the funds on May 23.
