CUCULICH, Mary

In loving memory of Mary Cuculich, we celebrate a life filled with warmth, creativity, and passion. A devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Mary Goldie (Agoston) Cuculich of Harriston passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, in her 87th year. Wife of Walter Cuculich for almost 66 years. Mother of Sandy & Rick Winkler, and Gail & Steven Cronsberry, all of Harriston, Peggy & Bruce Sickel of Sauble Beach, Wendy & Ian Stevenson of Kitchener, and Sheryl & Greg Mallett of Palmerston. Grandmother of Eric (Kate), Jaylene (Richard), Ryan (Theresa), Stefanie (Graham), Alicia (Alex), Randi (Bobby), Kristin (Nic), Ashley (Jason), Brody (Julia), Andrew, and Elizabeth, and great-grandmother of Annalise, Grady, Hayden, Hayley, Beckett, Jack, Norah, Clark, Brynley, Brooklyn, Rowe, and Asher. Remembered also by her sister, nieces, and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Gabriel & Pauline (Sabo) Agoston, and by her brothers and sisters. Mary’s greatest joy was spending time with her loved ones. She could be found in her garden tending to her plants while bird watching or sitting in her chair watching her beloved Bo Bichette and the Toronto Blue Jays. As a skilled baker, her kitchen was always filled with fresh cookies for her grandkids, while her prize-winning flower arrangements and painting showcased her artistic talents. A skilled crocheter, her handmade creations are cherished gifts to many generations. As an active member of the Horticulture Society and the Red Hat Society, Mary forged lasting friendships with members of her community. Her legacy lives on in the vibrant blooms, sweet scents, and warm memories she leaves behind, forever etched in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her. A private family funeral service was held at Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston, on Thursday, January 18, 2024. Interment in Harriston Cemetery. Memorial donations to Palmerston Hospital Palliative Care would be appreciated. The Cuculich family is grateful for the care given by Armanda at Bayshore Nursing, and by the nurses and staff in the Palliative Unit at Palmerston Hospital.
