William “Bill” Douglas Currie, of Kincardine, passed away at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine, on Friday, May 24th, 2024, at age 73. Beloved husband of Myrna Currie (née McDougall). Proud and loving father of Amy Sauvé (Ryan) and Meghan Currie. Missed by his brother Ron Currie (Judy) and in-laws, Gord McDougall (Bonnie) and Carol Campbell. Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends. Predeceased by his parents, George and Christina (née Foster) Currie, sister Joan Couper and in-laws, John Couper, Wayne Campbell and Bonnie McDougall. A celebration of Bill’s life will be held the Inverlyn Estates Clubhouse, Kincardine on Friday, June 7th, 2024 from 1:00 to 4:00pm, with remembrances shared at 3:00pm. Final resting place Kincardine Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Huron Shores Hospice, Community Living Kincardine and District or St. Paul’s United Church, Metz would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
