FERGUS –  CW Martial Arts Academy hosted its Grand Reopening from 1 to 3:30pm on Jan. 6.

Students from six-years-old to adults can learn martial arts at the academy. It has expanded from the lower level of 380 St. Andrews St. West in Fergus to include the floors above – the former location of Bears Athletics Fergus, which closed in November.

Owner Chris Mulligan said CW Martial Arts Academy plans to offer a Ninja program similar to the one offered at Bears, but the academy is currently looking for someone to teach that class.

Mulligan and jujitsu and kick boxing coach James Watson showed attendees the new space, including the Olympic-style taekwondo training gym, and answered questions about the academy.
