DAVIES, Myra Jeanette (nee Venn)

1937-2025 Peacefully at Wellington Park Care Centre, on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at age 88. Beloved wife of David for over 66 years. Cherished mother to Susan Somerville and Steve Davies (Renee). Dear grandmother of Evan, Sarah (Don Lougheed), Ian, and Lauren. Loving sister to June Emberson and the late Irene Browne. Myra and David were long-time residents of Fergus, and were members of the St James Anglican Church community. She had a remarkable gift for love, making each of her four grandchildren feel like the most special person in the world. Myra was a fun-loving person and always lit up the room wherever she went! She will be greatly missed by all who knew her including her beloved colleagues at Foseco in Guelph and Canadore College in North Bay. Special thank you to the staff at Wellington Park for all of their compassionate care. In accordance with her wishes, cremation will take place and a private gathering will be held at a later date.
