DETTA, Phyllis Caroline (nee Gates)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Phyllis Detta on April 3, 2025, age 92, at Georgetown Hospital. Devoted wife to the late Orville for 58 years. Loving mother to the late Howard, Ron (Doris), Brian, Bev (late Norm), Helen (late Gord), and Andy. Proud grandmother of 15 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Survived by her sister Joyce. Predeceased by Bud, Mae, Myrtle, Alf, Wray, and Don. Will be missed by all friends and extended family. Arrangements entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place. As per Phyllis’ wishes, no service will take place. In lieu of flowers, donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
