ERIN – A part-lot exemption bylaw for a planned subdivision was approved at a May 23 meeting.

Part-lot control is used to regulate further division of lots or blocks within a subdivision.

Phase one of Solmar’s  Erin Glen subdivision is proposed for 73 acres and is a mixed-use community with residential, commercial, industrial and institutional uses.

Developer National Properties Inc. made the request pertaining to 105 semi-detached and townhouse units. Such exemption bylaws last between a one or two-year period; town staff recommended council approve a two-year period.

Council approved the part lot control exemption bylaw, and the County of Wellington will have final approval.
