DICK, Ronald Alexander
Ronald Alexander Dick passed away peacefully at Palmerston and District Hospital on August 20, 2023, in his 74th year. Beloved son of the late John Alexander Dick and Helen Marie Dick (nee Lambier). Brother of Karen Thompson, Barbara Sampson, Sharon Thackeray (Gary), Dorothy Dick, Deborah Young (Randy), Carol Dick, John Dick (Shelley), brother-in-law Clare Dietrich and sister-in-law Marion Dick. Predeceased by siblings John Maurice Dick, Donna Dick, Joan Dietrich, Shirley Dick, James Dick, and Kenneth Dick. Fondly remembered by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Ron was born in Palmerston and remained a lifelong resident. He worked at Campbell Soup in Listowel until his retirement. Ron was an avid fisherman; he has great memories of fishing at Manitoulin Island with family. Ron enjoyed the outdoors; in the summer you could always find Ron picking strawberries. There will be a celebration of life held on Sunday September 17th from 2pm-4pm at the Frank Lambier Legion Branch 409, Palmerston. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Palmerston and District Hospital would be appreciated.
