DIEFENBACHER, Karen Anne (Hales)
1956 - 2024 of Drayton went home to be with her Lord and Saviour after courageously battling A.L.S. on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at the age of 67. Beloved wife of Don Diefenbacher for 32 years. Loving mother of Lindsey Diefenbacher of Kitchener. Daughter of the late Murray and Audrey Hales. Sister of Ellen, Linda, David (Laurel), Paul (Rosemary) and Sherri (Duane). Daughter-in-law of Ed and Gladys Diefenbacher. Karen always had a great love for the East Coast where many relatives and grandparents lived. She also leaves behind her beloved companion and Protector Teddy, who was constantly by her side. We would like to thank all relatives, many friends and our church for all their Love, Support, Visits and preparing meals, also the many prayers. We are truly thankful for all the kindness shown. Karen loved to laugh and sing, she had a strong faith and love for the Lord, so we know she is with the Lord now and she is singing in the Heavens Choir. We also want to thank neighbour ladies and the PSW’s for their care, especially Charlene Heaton, for her amazing and wonderful care for Karen. A celebration of Karen’s life will be held in the Drayton reformed Church on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 11:00am followed by a period of fellowship and refreshments. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Drayton Reformed Church would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Heritage Funeral Home, Drayton.
