Drayton man, woman dead after serious Friday night crash
MAPLETON – A Drayton man and woman are dead following a serious crash here on Friday night involving a pickup truck and a farm tractor.
Emergency crews responded to the scene, on 8th Line in Mapleton Township, southeast of Drayton, on Oct. 3 at about 9:30pm.
"Both the occupants of the pick-up truck, a 32-year-old male and a 39-year-old female from Drayton, were pronounced deceased on scene and the driver of the farm tractor was transported to hospital with minor injuries," stated a press release from the Wellington County OPP.
The 8th Line was closed between Sideroads 17 and 19 for the investigation.
