Drayton motorcyclist dead after collision in North Perth
NORTH PERTH – A motorcyclist from Drayton is dead following a two-vehicle crash here on Tuesday.
Emergency crews responded the scene, on Perth Line 88 at Perth Road 140 in North Perth, just after 1pm on Aug. 12.
Perth County OPP officials say a motorcycle collided with a passenger vehicle.
"As a result of the collision, the 36-year-old motorcycle driver from Drayton suffered serious life-threatening injuries and was later pronounced deceased after being transported to a local trauma centre," police stated in a press release.
"The occupants of the passenger vehicle sustained minor injuries."
Police say Perth Line 88 will be closed between Perth Road 146 and Sideroad 3 for several hours for the investigation.
