Of Mount Forest passed away surrounded by the love of his family at the Grand River Hospital, Kitchener on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at the age of 73. Beloved husband of Rosemary (Heffernan) for 55 years. Dear father of Glenn and Tracy Dyce and Rob and Deanna Dyce all of Arthur. Cherished grandfather of Gage and Cody. Brother of the late Verann Saunders, Maureen Hakenberg, Bob and Marge Dyce, David Dyce and Lori Gillies, Judy and Paul Culp. Brother-in-law of Jean and Garry Funston, Joan and Bob England, Steve and Mary Heffernan and Donna and Doug Langdon. Fondly remembered by many nieces nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents John and Laura Dyce, mother-in-law and father-in-law Ernie and Betty Heffernan, brother-in-law Manfred Hakenberg and nephew Jamie Culp. The family will receive friends at the Arthur Community Centre on Thursday, June 12, 2025 from 6 to 8pm and on Friday, June 13, 2025 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. John The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 11:00am followed by interment in St John’s Cemetery, Arthur. As expressions of sympathy donations to Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation or Cancer Patient Services, Mount Forest or St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church would be appreciated by the family.
