Elora Farmers' Market opens for season on May 6

ELORA – The Elora Farmers' Market will open for the season at Bissell Park on May 6.

"Come down and meet the people who grow your food," states an April 29 press release from the market.

"There is something for everyone at the market. It’s a family- and pet-friendly place to be."

The Elora Farmers' Market will run every Saturday in the spring and summer, rain or shine, from 9am to 1pm.

Officials are inviting everyone to come out and "discover the fresh, local produce, eggs, meats, treats, and more."

The market also boasts local artisans and "crafters" of wine, cider and beer.

"The market is a welcoming community hub," officials stated.

"It's the place to meet old friends and make new ones.

"Sit and enjoy delicious food, sip a coffee, and listen to live music or chat about the latest news."
