Elora lawn bowlers take first tournament title

ELORA – Helen Mills, left, and partner Ev Robson won the first lawn bowling tournament of the season at the Elora Lawn Bowling Club on June 10. Lawn bowling is up and running again with teams from Georgetown, Guelph, Mount Forest and Elmira. The host club for the all-day, three-game tournament was Elora. Under sunny skies the Elora Rocks team of Robson and Mills came out victorious. The Elora club is hosting a Community Bowls Day on June 24 from 12:30 to 4:30pm and all members of the community are welcome to attend.
