Elora Plein Air Festival draws 75 artists to community
ELORA – The outdoor Elora Plein Air Festival, took place last week and on the weekend with the Quick Paint event happening May 17 in Fergus. About 75 artists from here and afar were given two hours to paint what they liked and then their work was judged by Elora artist Phil Irish for prizes and glory. Some of the pieces were also for sale. The event is popular with artists who like the challenge of completing work on a time limit. Spectators also enjoyed seeing the artists at work.
