CENTRE WELLINGTON – The Alma Optimist Club presented Elora Public School with a cheque for $2,000 to help sponsor Empowerment Day 2025.

Over 5,000 Upper Grand District School Board students will gather for a day of inspiration from motivational speakers and performers. “Through this one-day event students ... learn they can make a positive difference in their communities and beyond,” officials stated.
