Federal all candidates meetings to be held throughout region

WELLINGTON-HALTON HILLS - Electors wishing to hear political candidates in person have a number of opportunities in the coming month.

Wellington-Halton Hills

Across Wellington-Halton Hills all candidate nights are beginning to crop up.

Sept. 23 - Erin Legion. Arrive at 6:30pm for a 7pm start. The meeting will conclude at 9pm.

Oct. 2 - Fergus Legion. Hosted by the Centre Wellington Chamber of Commerce and the Centre Wellington Community Foundation. Arrive 6:30pm for a 7pm start.

Oct. 3 - John Elliott Theatre, Georgetown. Hosted by the Georgetown Federation of University Women and Halton Environmental Network. Sign Language translation services will be provided. Arrive 6:30pm for 7pm start.

Oct. 8 - Rockmosa Community Centre, Rockwood. Hosted by the Wellington Federation of Agriculture. 7:30 to 9:30pm.

Oct. 9 - Puslinch Community Centre, Aberfoyle. Hosted by the Puslinch Optimist Club. Arrive 6:30 for 7pm start.

Perth-Wellington

There are six upcoming all-candidates debates in Perth-Wellington riding.

Sept. 30 - At 7pm at the Pyramid Recreation Centre in St. Marys, sponsored by the Stratford and District Chamber of Commerce.

Oct. 3 - 7:30pm at the Maryborough Community Centre, 15 Ball Ave Moorefield, sponsored by the Wellington Federation of Agriculture.

Oct. 7 - 7:30pm, Elma-Logan Recreation Complex in Monkton, sponsored by the Perth County Federation of Agriculture.

Oct. 10 - Stratford City Hall at 7pm, sponsored by the Stratford and District Chamber of Commerce.

Oct. 15 - Alma Community Centre at 7pm, sponsored by the Alma Optimist Club.

Oct. 16 - 7pm at the Queen’s Inn in Stratford, sponsored by the Stratford and District Homebuilders Association.
