Fergus woman charged in connection with multiple opioid overdoses

FERGUS - A Fergus woman has been charged in connection with an OPP investigation into multiple non-fatal opioid overdoses.

Wellington County OPP officials say the investigation culminated with a drug bust on Aug. 3 at a residence on Gowrie Street in Fergus.

Natasha Page, 32, of Fergus, has been charged with two counts of possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking.

She remains in custody and will appear in court at a later date.
