Final council meeting for interim CAO Patrick Moyle

ABERFOYLE - On Dec. 4 Puslinch council took time to recognize the achievements of interim CAO Patrick Moyle.

“It was a seamless transition with his arrival. The staff bonded with you. You knocked the interviews right out of the park,” Mayor James Seeley said during the final council meeting for Moyle.

Seeley noted Moyle was able to deal with some files which had been dragging for a while.

Councillor Jessica Goyda echoed those statements.

“I want to thank you for all your extremely hard work over the past few months. It’s been a pleasure working with you...”

“Your approach to helping us find a new CAO was really good experience for us and will  lead to a great new chapter for the township.”

Councillor John Sepulis noted it was a unanimous decision of council to select Moyle.

Councillor Matthew Bulmer added, “I really appreciate you taught this old dog some new tricks. I’ve become a better person and a better member of council.”

Bulmer said he saw a similar effect on staff.
