Family Day challenge - Minto Fire won the fire truck pull challenge over the Wellington County OPP team at the second annual Darren’s Day Family Day event in Palmerston on Feb. 17. The firefighters, who also won last year’s inaugural challenge, topped the cops by pulling the required distance in 28.9 seconds, compared to 17.7 seconds for the police squad.
