Five gorgeous gardens on society’s Fergus tour
FERGUS – Whether you are new to gardening or have a beautiful garden yourself, there’s an event coming up you won’t want to miss.
The Fergus and District Horticultural Society’s annual garden tour is slated for June 22 and it promises to be beautiful, inspiring and a great event, officials say.
The tour features four private gardens and one public garden that is maintained by the horticultural society and all are breathtaking, organizers say. Admission is by cash donation to the Centre Wellington Food Bank.
All gardens are in Fergus and include:
– 145 Union St. West;
– 245 Union St. West;
– 135 St. George St. East;
– 380 Brock Ave.; and
– Templin Gardens.
It’s a self-guided tour that runs from 12:30 to 4:30pm, rain or shine.
Brochures that include a map are available at Little Tree Garden Market, Victoria Park Seniors Centre, the Elora Information Centre, Fergus and Elora public libraries, the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex and I Love Chocolate.
