WELLINGTON NORTH – The Four Corners Quilters Guild in Mount Forest will be holding its second annual raffle draw on Feb. 12.

The draw will be taking place at 11am at the Calvin Presbyterian Church in Harriston.

“We had a raffle draw last year … but in the process, we made quilts from the money that came in from the raffle to do another raffle this year,” said Betty Henry of the Four Corners Quilters Guild.

Palliative care donation

This time around, the quilters guild plans to present charity quilts to the palliative care units at the Palmerston and Louise Marshall hospitals.

Last year, one quilt went to the Louise Marshall Hospital, and three were donated to dialysis in Palmerston.

This year’s quilt for the raffle is queen size with 104” x 91” dimensions. Second prize will receive a 40” x 40” table topper.

Those interested in getting raffle tickets can do so at The Quilt Jeannie in Harriston. The deadline for raffle ticket purchases is Feb. 10.
