FREY, Isobel Jean (nee Martin)
Passed away peacefully at Barnswallow Place Care Community, Elmira on Sunday, August 31, 2025 at the age of 77 years. Cherished wife of Mahlon Frey for 46 years. Loving mom of Michelle (Steve), Ryan (Nancy), Tricia (Brendan), Becki (Josh), and Tara (Dan). Fun and loving grandma of Jordie (Brendan), Maddie, Annie, Lilly; Bella (Zach), Ezra; Aven; Aurora, Forest; and Lupin. Will be missed by her sister Janice, many nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents Delton and Vera Martin, brother Ken, and her first husband Edward. Visitation will take place from 2-5pm on Sunday, September 7, 2025 at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. Private family interment will take place in Floradale Mennonite Cemetery. A public memorial service will be held at 11am on Monday, September 8, 2025 at Floradale Mennonite Church, 22 Florapine Rd., Floradale, with reception to follow in the church hall. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) or the Alzheimer Society of Waterloo Wellington would be appreciated and may be made through the funeral home.
